A collaborative effort of operatives of Oyo State Security Network Agency comprising the Amotekun Corps, Oodua People’s Congress (OPC) and Vigilante Group of Nigeria (VGN) have led to the arrest of 11 suspected bandits in two areas of the state.
Six suspects were arrested in Kajola local government area while five were apprehended in Saki East local government area.
The Commandant, Col Olayinka Olayanju (Retd) confirmed the arrests in a statement yesterday morning.
He said the suspects were handed over to the police in the two council areas.
Olayanju said the arrests were made during a joint patrol in the early hours of yesterday.
