COVID-19 UPDATE: Nigeria’s cases of COVID-19 rises to 15,682 as 501 new cases has been confirmed.

COVID-19 cases in Nigeria increased further
on Saturday 13th June with 501 cases and 8
deaths reported in the country, even as
authorities intensify efforts to flatten the curve
of the pandemic.
The new cases were confirmed by the Nigeria
Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) via their
twitter handle showing the statistics of the
total number of confirmed cases, the total
number of recovered cases and the total
number of deaths
This takes the country’s total infections to
15,682, out of which 5,101 have been
discharged and 407 lost their lives.
These figures were obtained from the 90,464
samples tested so far in the country.
Data from the NCDC showed that the 501
cases were spread across 24 states with
lagos accounting for the highest number of
infections.
